Snowshoeing Vail Pass

Matt flew in last weekend, so he, my parents, Elias and I spent the weekend at Copper. Knowing that the three of them would ski all weekend, I brought my snowshoes and Elias's carrier along. Jenna drove up from Boulder Saturday morning, and the three of us snowshoed part of the path that leads from Copper to Vail Pass. We went in for about an hour, at a slight incline, braving the wind. The weather was beautiful, aside from the wind, with the temperatures reaching roughly 60 that afternoon. I unfortunately didn't take any photos while we were snowshoeing, but did take a few afterwards. Here's a shot of E and I on the bus back to our condo:

...and another one of Elias after he got out of the carrier:

After a cozy little nap on the couch together, the two of us headed over to Jack's for a few drinks. Elias had fun with Uncle Matt.

We're hoping to get up there one more weekend before the end of the season.
